Metro
• From Lyon Airport: Take the high-speed rail
service Rhônexpress from Lyon Airport. Its final
stop is Lyon’s city-center train station, Gare
de Lyon-La Part-Dieu.
o After arriving at Gare de Lyon-La Part-Dieu,
you can walk to the hotel (approximately 1.4 km
away).
o Alternatively, take Metro Line D from the
station and ride 1 stop to Sathonay Station.
Then walk about 500 meters to reach Bikube Lyon.
o Tickets for Rhônexpress can be purchased at
airport ticket machines or on board. A one-way
ticket costs €15 and a round-trip ticket costs
€26, with a travel time of around 30 minutes.
• From Gare de Lyon-La Part-Dieu: As a major
transportation hub, Gare de Lyon-La Part-Dieu
has direct access to Metro Line D. Ride 1 stop
to Sathonay Station, then walk approximately 500
meters to Bikube Lyon.
• From Gare de Lyon-Perrache: Take Metro Line A
from Gare de Lyon-Perrache, heading toward
Vaulx-en-Velin. Transfer to Metro Line D at
Ampère - Victor Hugo Station, then ride toward
Gare de Venissieux and get off at Sathonay
Station. Finally, walk about 500 meters to the
hotel.
Bus
• From Lyon Airport: Take the airport bus
SATOBUS, which runs between Lyon city center and
Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport daily.
o It departs approximately every 20 minutes.
o The journey from the airport to the city
center takes about 45 minutes.
o The one-way fare is around €8.50.
Taxi
• From Lyon Airport:
o Daytime (7:00-19:00): The fare to Lyon city
center is approximately €45-€50.
o Nighttime (19:00-7:00 the next day), Sundays,
and public holidays: The fare increases to
around €60-€65.
• From Gare de Lyon-Perrache:
o There is no fixed fare, as it depends on
distance and traffic conditions. However, taxi
fares within the city are usually reasonable.
o For reference: The standard starting fare for
city taxis is around €7, plus a €2 service fee.
The per-kilometer rate is about €1.50 during the
day and €2.00 at night.
